This necklace is made up of old and ancient beads from many parts of the world. From the central Jatim mosaic cone bead we have several Venetian eye beads and two Venetian Chevron, 18th and 19th century traded into Borneo. The dark blue translucent beads are Djenne beads from Mali (600 to 1200 years old), some antqueBalinese silver beads and several old red beads from Tibet. The Tibetan beads I believe were traded into Tibet from China aiming to replicate the prescious Mediterranian coral. Last, but not least is one turquoise colored glass bead tradedto Sumba in the 16th-1th century.
