The inside has a depiction of a smiling fisherman sitting on a riverbank. On the outside is depicted 4 sky dancers. One dancing on a deer, another on a fish, the third on a bamboo raft and, the fourth on a cloud. The fisherman image is a reproduction of a famous painting by Wu Zen who in the Ming period became to be designated one of the Four Great Masters of the late Yuan dynasty. He was a poet, painter and reclusive whose style and imagery was favoured by many Ming painters.
Red leaves west of the village reflect evening rays,
Yellow reeds on a sandy bank cast early moon shadows.
Lightly stirring his oar,
Thinking of returning home,
He puts aside his fishing pole, and will catch no more.
